Early Anglo Saxon (c.600-775), silver Sceat, c.695-740, Continental issue, Porcupine type, series E, variety E. Obv. Quilled animal or bird facing right with 3 pellets in triangle leg, with parallel line and a further 2 pellets under body. Rev. Beaded standard with diagonal line, 2 angles and 4 pellets around a large central annulet. 0.99g, (S.790C variant). Extremely fine.
