Anne (1702-1714), silver Sixpence, 1703, Pre-union with Scotland (1702-1707), VIGO below bust, early shields, 4 strings to harp. Obv. Draped bust facing left, VIGO below. Rev. Crowned cruciform shields, angles plain, date split by English crown. 3.03g, die axis 6h (S.3590; Bull 1446). Some light haymarking to obverse, else a light steely grey and even tone – the obverse with hints of purple florescent. Extremely fine or better.
