Charles I (1625-1649), silver Halfcrown, 1644, Bristol mint, English civil war coinage (1642-1649), Bristol provincial issue (1643-45), Shrewsbury plume, m.m. Plume/Br. Obv. King on horseback facing left ‘Shrewsbury’ plume behind. Rev. Declaration, three Bristol plums above, date below. 15.21g, die axis 7h (S.3007; North 2489). Lightly toned, patchy in places however the king and horse bold. Good very fine.

With two old hand written tickets.
