Cnut (1016-1035), silver Penny, 1029-1036, London mint, moneyer Aelfwine, Short Cross type with barbed sceptre. Obv. Diademed bust facing left holding sceptre. Rev. Voided short cross with annulet in centre, angles plain. 1.04g, die axis 12h (S.1159; North 790). Well centered on good metal. Almost extremely fine.
