Commonwealth (1649-1660), gold Crown, 1651/0, no stops on obverse, G over O in ENGLAND (?), m.m. sun on obverse only. Obv. Shield within wreath. Rev. Conjoined shields with mark of value above, date above in legend. 2.27g, die axis 6h (S.3212; EGC 63; North 2719; Schneider 359). Slight die crumbling, otherwise a full and round coin, sharply and evenly struck with much underlying mint brilliance, an exceptional and choice example. Virtually as Struck and rated R5 by Bull (just five to ten examples known).
