Edward I (1272-1307), silver Farthing, 1279-1307, London mint, new coinage, Class 3g, m.m. Cross Pattée on obverse only. Obv. Crowned bust facing. Rev. Long cross to edge of coin, 3 pellets in each central quarter within inner beaded circle. 0.35g, approximately 13.3mm, (S.1446). A little porous and striking weakness in places with some find verdigris to the recesses, otherwise the flan and legends both presented in full. Good fine.
