George I (1714-1727), copper Farthing, 1717, ‘dump’ issue, edge plain. Obv. Laureate and cuirassed bust facing right. Rev. Britannia seated facing left, date in exergue. 4.74g, die axis 6h (S.3661; Peck 783). A well struck up example, demonstrating a deep, rich brown patina, a desirable coin with much eye appeal. A bold good very fine.
