George I (1727-1760), copper Farthing, 1724, second issue, edge plain. Obv. Laureate and cuirassed bust facing right. Rev. Britannia seated facing left, date in exergue. 4.82g, die axis 6h (S.3662; Peck 828). Weekly struck as is usual for this issue with a somewhat patchy tone, otherwise with some original colour, lustrous and desirable, all George I copper issues becoming very hard to find in this condition. Good extremely fine and likely much as Struck, rare in this state.
