Reverse C – A stunning coin, well struck with a light brown tone and much original colour.
George III (1760-1820), copper Farthing, 1771 (first 7 over 1), first issue, Reverse C – olive branch points to right hand limb of A in BRITANNIA and the first 7 in date over a 1, edge plain. Obv. Laureate and cuirassed bust facing right. Rev. Britannia seated facing left, date in exergue. 5.44g, die axis 6h (S.3775; Peck 909). A stunning specimen, well struck with a light brown tone and much original colour highlighting the devices. Choice. Slabbed and graded by NGC as MS64 BN. Rare in this condition.
