George III (1760-1820), silver Maundy Set, 1780, type A/1, edge plain. Obv. Young laureate and draped bust facing right. Rev. Crowned mark of value with date split above. Die axis 6h (S.3762; Bull 2234). 1d. with a dig on bust and back of hair (likely a die flaw as , otherwise a very pleasing set and delightfully toned. Extremely fine.
