George III (1760-1820), silver Sixpence, 1787, early coinage, first bust, with Semée of hearts, edge milled diagonally. Obv. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust facing right. Rev. Cruciform shields, crowns in angles, garter star at centre. 3.00g, die axis 12h (S.3749; Bull 2190). Some light flecking, a few light contact marks, otherwise a delightful tone to the periphery and fully lustrous. About uncirculated.
