George III (1760-1820), copper Bronzed Proof Penny, 1806, Birmingham mint, Soho coinage, fourth issue, m.m. Soho on reverse only, edge grained in centre. Obv. Laureate and draped bust facing right, date below. Rev. Britannia seated facing left above waves, ship to left, exergue plain. 19.06g, die axis 12h (S.3780; Peck 1323). Few light contact marks. About Mint State.
