George III (1760-1820), silver Three Shillings, 1814, Bank of England issue (1804-1816), second bust, edge plain. Obv. Laureate head facing right. Rev. Oak wreath containing BANK TOKEN 3 SHILL. over three lines above date. 14.61g, die axis 12h (S.3770; Bull 2083). Small hairline mark and tiny edge bump to reverse, not detracting however from this otherwise delightfully radiant coin, flashy, proof-like fields with golden hues. Choice extremely fine.
