George IV (1820-1830), silver Halfcrown, 1821, lightly garnished shield, edge milled vertically. Obv. Laureate bust facing left. Rev. Crowned ‘lightly garnished’ shield, thistle left, shamrock right, rose below, date in legend. 14.17g, die axis 6h (S.3807; Bull 2360). Some very light cabinet friction to high points otherwise a light golden blue tone over lustrous, prooflike fields. Uncirculated and choice.
