Henry VI (1422-1461), gold Quarter Noble, 1422-1430, London mint, first reign (1422-1461), single lis above shield, nothing below, large mint marks, m.m. large lis/large lis. Obv. Small lis over shield within tressure, lis after HENRIC. Rev. Ornate cross, trefoils at angles of central panel. 1.73g, die axis 8h (S.1810; North 1420). Some earthen deposits, flan full and round, pleasing. Almost extremely fine.

Formerly slabbed and graded by NGC as MS61 with old NGC ticket.
