Henry VI (1422-1461), silver Groat, 1422-1430, Calais mint, first reign (1422-1461), annulet issue (1422-1430), m.m. pierced cross/pierced cross. Obv. Crowned bust facing, annulets at neck. Rev. Long cross to edge of coin, 3 pellets in each central quarter within inner beaded circle, annulets in two opposing quarters. 3.87g, die axis 3h (S.1836; North 1424). Obverse a little double struck, else of good quality silver and lightly toned. Good very fine.
