Henry VI (1422-1461), silver Groat, 1430-1431, Calais mint, first reign (1422-1461), rosette-mascle issue (1430-1431), m.m. cross patonce/plain cross. Obv. Crowned bust facing within beaded inner circle. Rev. Long cross pattée to edge of coin, 3 pellets in each central quarter within inner beaded circle. 3.79g, die axis 3h (S.1859; North 1446). Deep toning, an attractive coin, the portrait superb. Good very fine.
