Henry VI (1422-1461), silver Groat, 1430-1431, Calais mint, first reign, Rosette-mascle issue, m.m. cross patonce/plain cross. Obv. Crowned bust facing within tressure. Rev. Long cross pattée to edge of coin, 3 pellets in each central quarter. 3.73g, die axis 7h (S.1859; North 1446). Evenly toned with a superb portrait. Extremely fine.
