Henry VII (1485-1509), gold Angel, 1504-1505, tall thin lettering, m.m. cross crosslet/cross crosslet. Obv. St. Michael slaying dragon, head breaking beaded inner circle. Rev. Ship sailing right, with bow sprit, shield of arms at centre, H and rose above. 5.18g, die axis 2h (S.2186 variant; North 1698). Full and round, crisply struck. Almost extremely fine and very rare.

This reverse die, with a double rosette stop after ‘PER’, is apparently unpublished.
