Henry VII (1485-1509), silver Groat, London mint, facing bust, class IVb, m.m. greyhounds head 2/greyhounds head 2. Obv. Crowned bust facing within tressure, crown with double-lined single-arch, six uprights, lettering style G1a. Rev. Long forked cross to edge of coin, 3 pellets in each central quarter within inner beaded circle, cross ends 10, coded 20/30, with 2 stops placed before, and one after, ‘lon’, lettering style G1b 2.95g, die axis 12h (S.2201; North 1706(b); Potter & Winstanley IV, 1-2, no. 7; Stewartby p. 436, IVBi). Centre weak but on a neat and full round flan. Good fine or better and very rare.
