Henry VII (1485-1509), silver Groat, London mint, facing bust, Class IIa, m.m. none/none. Obv. Crowned bust facing within tressure, saltires by neck, trefoils on cusps, including on breast, crown double-arched, type 2, trefoil stops. Rev. Long forked cross to edge of coin, 3 pellets in each central quarter within inner beaded circle, trefoil stops. 2.93g, die axis 6h (S.2196; North 1704). A bold portrait, dark tone. Very fine.
