Richard III (1483-1485), silver Groat, 1483-1484, London mint, type 2b, m.m. boar’s head 2/boar’s head 2. Obv. Crowned bust facing within tressure. Rev. Long cross pattée to edge of coin, 3 pellets in each central quarter. 2.89g, die axis 2h (S.2156; North 1679). Minor flan flaws at edge otherwise pleasing, the bust and reverse mint mark especially so. Good very fine and rare.
