Victoria (1837-1901), copper Farthing, 1848, ‘Young Head’ copper coinage (1838-1860), FID: DEF: legend, 2nd A unbarred in BRITANNIA, edge plain. Obv. Young head facing left, date below. Rev. Britannia seated facing right, emblems in exergue. 4.68g, die axis 12h (S.3950; Peck 1569). Problem free fields, lustrous with hints of original colour beneath a pleasing tone, desirable in this condition. Good extremely fine or Better and scarce in this condition.
