Victoria (1837-1901), Penny, 1860, ‘Bun Head’ issue (1860-1895), dies 2+D. Obv. Young laureate bust facing left. Rev. Britannia seated facing right, lighthouse to left, ship to right, date in exergue. 9.90g, die axis 12h (S.3954; Freeman 10). A few minor hairlines otherwise extensive lustre, light tone with brilliance, especially so in the legends. Brilliant uncirculated.
