Victoria (1837-1901), Penny, 1874, ‘Bun Head’ issue (1860-1895), dies 7+G, edge plain. Obv. Young laureate bust facing left. Rev. Britannia seated facing right, lighthouse to left, ship to right, date in exergue. 9.60g, die axis 12h (S.3954; Freeman 70). A few light marks else lightly toned with much original colour, lustrous – the reverse with much brilliance. Brilliant uncirculated.

Formerly graded and slabbed by NGC as MS64 RB (with accompanying ticket)
