Victoria (1837-1901), Penny, 1890, ‘bun head’ issue (1860-1895), dies 12+N, edge plain. Obv. Young laureate bust facing left. Rev. Britannia seated facing right, lighthouse to left, ship to right, date in exergue. 9.26g, die axis 12h (S.3954; Freeman 130). Some surface marks on reverse, otherwise with a very light tone and virtually full lustre. Brilliant uncirculated.
