Victoria (1837-1901), Halfcrown, 1893, Old head issue (1893-1901), edge milled vertically. Obv. Old veiled bust facing left. Rev. Crowned spade shaped shield within collar of the garter, date split by George below. 14.14g, die axis 12h (S.3938; Bull 2778). A few trivial ‘bag-marks’ otherwise with a very light golden tone and with full lustre, the fields proof-like. Virtually as Struck.
