Victoria (1837-1901), Halfcrown, 1894, Old head issue (1893-1901), edge milled vertically. Obv. Old veiled bust facing left. Rev. Crowned spade shaped shield within collar of the garter, date split by George below. 14.15g, die axis 12h (S.3938; Bull 2780). A couple of small marks under magnification, lightly toned and lustrous. Almost as struck and scarce.
Formerly slabbed and graded by NGC as MS64, with old NGC ticket.
