William III (1694-1702), gold Guinea, 1698, second bust with large lettering and large date. Obv. Laureate bust facing right. Rev. Crowned cruciform shields, emblematic sceptres in angles, date split by English crown. 8.35g, die axis 6h (S.3462). Attractive, with much mint bloom. Extremely fine and rare in this grade.
