William III (1694-1702), silver Halfcrown, 1698, first bust, no stops after MAG FRA HIB, edge DECIMO. Obv. Laureate and draped bust facing right. Rev. Crowned cruciform shields, angles plain, date split by English crown. 14.71g, die axis 6h (S.3494; Bull 1034). Light grey tone, reverse with much underlying brilliance. Almost extremely fine.
