William III (1694-1702), silver Halfcrown, 1698, first bust, modified large shields, no stops after MAG FRA HIB, edge DECIMO. Obv. Laureate and draped bust facing right. Rev. Crowned cruciform shields, angles plain, date split by English crown. 15.05g, die axis 6h (S.3494; Bull 1034). Possibly once lightly cleaned else proof-like reflective fields, light adjustment marks on reverse. Extremely fine.
