William IV (1830-1837), copper Half-Farthing, 1837, issued for use in Ceylon, edge plain. Obv. Bare head facing right, date below. Rev. Britannia seated facing right, emblems in exergue. Die axis 12h (S.3849; Peck 1476). Small mark to cheek otherwise evenly toned and highly desirable in this state. Good extremely fine and very rare in this condition. Slabbed and graded by NGC as MS62+ BN.
