William & Mary (1689-1694), silver Halfcrown, 1689, first busts, 2nd L over M in GVLIELMVS, edge PRIMO. Obv. Conjoined busts facing right, William bust laureate and cuirassed, Mary draped. Rev. Crowned shield of arms, Lion of Nassau in centre, date split by crown above, crown with caul and interior frosted, with pearls. 14.93g, die axis 6h (S.3434; Bull 827). Some light flecking otherwise pleasing. Good very fine.
