George III (1760-1820), copper Gilt Proof Farthing, 1799, Birmingham mint, moneyer Soho Mint, third issue, m.m. soho on reverse only, edge grained in centre. Obv. Laureate and draped bust facing right, date below. Rev. Britannia seated facing left above waves, ship to left, exergue plain. 6.29g, die axis 6h (S.3779; Peck 1272). Some light hairlines, otherwise with brilliant fields and good eye appeal. Virtually as Struck.
