Elizabeth I (1558-1603), silver Shilling, 1592-1595, sixth issue, m.m. tun/tun. Obv. Crowned bust facing left wearing dress with collar. Rev. Cross fourchée on shield of arms within beaded inner circle. 5.87g, die axis 2h (S.2577). Some metal stressing to bust and a few minor contact marks, otherwise a well rounded, lightly toned flan, the legends particularly bold, overall a pleasing coin. Very fine or better.
