George II (1727-1760), silver Crown, 1736, Roses & Plumes in Angles, edge NONO. Obv. Young laureate and draped bust facing left. Rev. Crowned cruciform shields, garter star in centre, roses and plumes in angles, date split by English crown. 30.12g, die axis 6h (S.3686; Bull 1664). An original and problem free coin, toned, a little patchy to reverse, otherwise to a gunmetal grey with flares of golden-purple, a presentable and collectable example. Good very fine and scarce.
