Anglo-Saxon (695-740), silver Sceat, Early Anglo-Saxon period (c.600-775), Continental issues (c.695-c.740), Porcupine type ‘Frankener Phase’, Series E, variety F. Obv. Reverse cruciform, three bars pellet-in-annulet below. Rev. Beaded line standard enclosing central rosette and four diagonals, pellets between, cross pommée upper margin. 1.21g, (S.790; SCBI 69 289 (this coin); SL 100-20 (plate coin)). A little off-struck otherwise a nice coin of good metal with traces of lustre. A bold good very fine.
