Anglo-Saxon (c.600-775), silver Sceat, 695-740, Early Anglo-Saxon period (c.600-775), Continental issues (c.695-c.740), Series E, variety B. Obv. Quilled crescent right, enclosing three bars, line of pellets below. Rev. Beaded standard, annulet in centre, long cross crosslet either side 1.03g, (S.790B; SL 98-10; SCBI 69 278 (this coin)). A small dumpy flan, attractive with some lustre in recesses. Extremely fine or near so.
