Anne (1702-1714), copper pattern Farthing, 1714, Small Flan type, 22mm, dies 2+E, edge plain. Obv. Draped bust facing left. Rev. Britannia seated facing left, date in exergue. 5.78g, die axis 6h (S.3625; Peck 741). The dies a little rusted, nonetheless pleasingly toned with considerable underlying lustre, a desirable coin in this condition. Good extremely fine and practically as struck.

It is worth noting that this example is arguably finer than the example sold by Heritage on the 7th May 2022, lot 31905, that realised an impressive $9600.
