Charles I (1625-1649), silver Crown, London (Tower) mint, under parliament (1642-1649), fourth horseman, type 4, Group IV, m.m. sun/sun. Obv. King on horseback facing left, holding sword in right hand, reins in left. Rev. Oval garnished shield of arms within beaded inner circle 29.92g, die axis 7h (S.2761; North 2198). A few trivial stress marks, otherwise struck on a full and round flan, an attractive coin. Very fine to good very fine.
