No inner circles, no CR. Tower mint. Lightly toned with pleasing colourful hues, a nice coin in hand.
Charles I (1625-1649), silver Shilling, 1635-1636, London (Tower) mint, under King (1625-1642), No inner circles, no CR, Group D, m.m. crown/crown. Obv. Fourth, double arched, crowned bust facing left wearing lace collar, mark of value behind. Rev. Round garnished shield of arms. 6.02g, die axis 2h (S.2791; North 2555). As is common for the issue, the flan slightly irregular, otherwise lightly toned with pleasing colourful hues, a nice coin in hand. About very fine.
