Charles I (1625-1649), silver Shilling, 1641-1643, London (Tower) mint, under King and Parliament, Sixth bust, large Briot type 4.4, Group F, m.m. triangle in circle/triangle in circle. Obv. Double arched crowned large bust with stellate lace collar, facing left. Rev. Square topped shield over cross moline. 5.77g, die axis 7h (S.2799). The flan a little irregular in shape but a nicely toned example. Good fine.
