Charles II (1660-1685), silver pattern Farthing, 1676, long hair variety, edge plain. Obv. Laureate and cuirassed bust facing left, date below. Rev. Britannia seated facing left, BRITANNIA in exergue. 7.93g, die axis 12h (Peck 492). A beautiful steely grey tone, slightly darker in the recesses serving to accentuate the devices, flashy, proof-like fields, a desirable coin with much eye appeal. Choice good extremely fine.

Formerly slabbed and graded by NGC as PF62 (now removed from slab) with accompanying slab ticket.
