Charles II (1660-1685), silver Sixpence, 1677, milled coinage, edge milled diagonally. Obv. Laureate and draped bust facing right. Rev. Crowned cruciform shields, interlinked C’s in angles, date split by English crown. Die axis 6h (S.3382; Bull 571). Some minor flecking, otherwise a superb example with full original colour and lustrous, desirable thus. Choice good extremely fine and scarce in this condition.
Slabbed and graded by PCGS as MS63.
