Charles II (1660-1685), gold Two Guineas, 1682, large 2 in date, edge milled diagonally. Obv. Second laureate bust facing right. Rev. Crowned cruciform shields, emblematic sceptres in angles, date split by English crown. 16.70g, die axis 6h (S.3335; EGC 220). Tiny mark on neck and small scratch to reverse field, nonetheless a very attractive piece, the legends with radiating hints of lustre, this the [Bull] English Gold Coinage v1, plate and also multiple page header coin! Good very fine/extremely fine and rare.
