Cn. Lentulus Clodianus (88 BC), silver Denarius, Rome mint, edge milled vertically. Obv. Helmeted bust of Mars facing right, viewed from behind. Rev. Victory driving galloping biga facing right, holding wreath, [C]N LENTVL below. 3.55g, die axis 4h (Sear 254 (RCV I); RRC 345/1). The flan a little small, otherwise well centred with a nice tone. About very fine.
