Cnut (1016-1035), silver Penny, 1016-1023, London mint, moneyer Wynsige, Quatrefoil type, BMC VIII. Obv. Crowned bust facing left within quatrefoil. Rev. Voided long cross on quatrefoil with pellets at cusps. 1.03g, die axis 12h (S.1157; North 781). Some earthen deposits, otherwise lightly toned and presentable. Good very fine.
