Commonwealth (1649-1660), silver Crown, 1653, m.m. Sun on obverse only. Obv. Shield within wreath, mintmark above. Rev. Conjoined shields with value above, date in legend above value. 29.81g, die axis 2h (S.3214; Bull 6; North 2721). Small scratch by 3 of date and some trivial softness, not detracting from an otherwise nice cabinet toned example of this popular issue. Almost extremely fine.
