Edward IV (1461-1470), gold Ryal, 1464-1470, first reign (1461-1470), light coinage (1464-1470), m.m. none/Long Cross Fitchée. Obv. King standing facing in ship, holding sword and shield, rose on side of ship. Rev. Rose on radiate sun at centre, within tressure of eight inner-beaded arcs, crowned lions and fleurs alternately in angles, small trefoils in spandrels. 7.60g, die axis 6h (S.1951; North 1549; Schneider, Obv. 376, Rev. 380).
