Edward VI (1547-1553), silver Crown, 1551, third period (1550-1553), fine silver issue (1551-1553), m.m. y/y. Obv. King crowned and wearing armour on horseback facing right, holding sword in right hand, reins in left, date below. Rev. Square-topped shield of arms over long cross forchée. 30.60g, die axis 3h (S.2478; North 1933). Small edge bump at 6 o’clock and some minor marks and light scratches, else evenly struck on a full round flan. Good fine.
